- Goji Berry Yogurt Smoothie

The Goji berry, also called Wolfberry, is a small and sweet red fruit native to China, it has been used as a medicinal food for thousands of years in Chinese medicine.

Goji berries is one of the super foods, it has potent antioxidant activity, boost your immune system, slow the aging process, protect your liver, kidneys, eye health and improves vision, increase energy, reduce stress, may improve your sleep, and more.


Sun-Dried Goji Berries are rated as the a top longevity food, which is the highest classification given in Traditional Chinese Medicine. They are exceptionally high in lycium barbarum polysaccharides (LBP), the main active constituents of goji berry.









Goji Berry Yogurt Smoothie:



Ingredients:

  • 1 table-spoon Goji berry powder

  • 1/2 Cup refrigerated homemade plain yogurt

  • 2-3 tablespoons honey (or to fit to your taste)

  • 1/2 cup dairy milk (could be whole milk, reduced fat milk)

  • 1 medium banana

  • 3-4 ice cubes



Directions:

  1. 1 table-spoon Goji berry powder put in a bowl then mix with some milk, keep aside for about 5-10 minutes;

  2. Then add yogurt and honey mix well;

  3. Banana peeled;

  4. Now place all ingredients in the blender, cover it; blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth.;

    Serves: 1
