There are many reasons why one may want to switch over to non dairy milk, and the great thing is that there are many options. Just because you’re not drinking actual milk, doesn't mean that you have to settle for an unpleasant alternative.
There are some very tasty and healthy non dairy milk alternatives on the market, but I still like to make my own at home. These are the alternatives that I have found to be the absolute best.
One of the best options to go for is almond milk. Now, it may take a bit of getting used to, if you've always been a traditional milk drinker, but you’ll be happy you made the switch.
Almond milk is great because it has a lot of different applications. You’re able to cook with it, just the same as you would regular milk.
It is very good over cereal, which is a major plus for a lot of milk lovers. On top of being versatile and great tasting it is also full of many beneficial vitamins and is considered to be very good for your heart.
Next up on my list of best option is coconut milk. This is a very popular alternative for a lot of people, and it’s quite easy to see why.
Coconut milk is very healthy and it has an extremely tasty flavor. A lot of people have grown very fond of making ice cream with coconut milk, and it’s also known to be very good for baking.
The one thing that might turn some people away from using coconut milk is that it is considered to be rather expensive in terms of milk alternatives. Although it can be pricey, it has a much longer shelf life than that of regular milk.
The last option is rice milk.
It’s extremely healthy and that is one of the reasons why a lot of people have turned to it as their non dairy milk alternative.
It has a very low fat and cholesterol content, which is great for anyone watching their figure or on a heart healthy diet. It does have a bit of a unique flavor that can take some getting used to, but it’s a very affordable and healthy option to choose.
Drink bean or nuts milk just like drink water or juice daily, you will get benefits from them.
