Cantaloupe Yogurt Smoothie


The cantaloupe originated in India and Africa; it has been cultivated over 5000 years.

Cantaloupe is the most popular melon in the United State. It is orange, sweet with unique flavor, contains high amount Vitamin A, beta-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin and cryptoxanthin, high in antioxidant. Can be use as one of your daily diet ingredients.

You can easily find them from the fresh fruit market at anytime, and enjoy them all year round.




Cantaloupe Yogurt Smoothie:



Ingredients:

  • 1/4 medium sized cantaloupe,

  • 3/4 cup homemade plain yogurt

  • 1/2 cup honey(or fit your taste)

  • 1-2 cup ice cube



Directions:

  1. 1/4 medium sized cataloupe, remove the seeds and skin, cut into small pieces;

  2. Add 3/4 cup of homemade plain yogurt;

  3. Add 1/2 cup of honey (or fit your taste);

  4. Add 1 cup ice cube;

  5. Place all ingredients in the blender, cover it; blend until smooth. Add some more ice if needed.

    Serves: 2-3
